clear of obstacles, any boundary adjustments such as those suggested would have to be subject to arrangements for a proportionate reduction of the price paid for the area to
the Navy by the Colonial Government.
Similarly the cost of shifting the ropeway if decided on would also have to become the subject for an
adjustment of the price paid to the Navy.
It was understood that the Conference was
exploratory in its nature and that all suggestions were merely tentative and without prejudice.
